If your website was hacked today, would you be able to restore it?

Video Transcript:

"Hey guys, welcome back. Today let's talk about your website.
"Most companies back up their internal data files, databases, sensitive information and that's great - but a lot of folks neglect to back up their website.
"Usually your website is hosted by a third party. You've built the site, you paid somebody to build the site, you post content to the site, you update it. But where is that information being stored besides just the website server?
"Most of the terms of service with those providers do not include backing up your website, so hackers are defacing websites all the time. They'll get a backdoor into the host, they'll put malicious code up, they'll change it, what not.
"So it's very important that you periodically - especially if you're using a lot of dynamic content or updating your site - that you back that site up, so that if something happens you can quickly restore without having to pay somebody to build you a whole new site.
"That's it for today, hope you have a great week. Talk to you next week."
