Banking Security
Video Transcript:
"For this week's Tech Tip we're going to talk about banking again.
"One of the things you should do is log into your business bank account and set up withdrawal alerts.
"When a withdrawal is over a certain amount, you'll get notified. If you didn't request that transfer, you can stop it.
"Hackers are doing all kinds of things to get access to business accounts these days. Setting this alert is just one way to help you prevent them from siphoning funds out of your account.
"Another thing I talked about before with passwords is multi-factor authentication. For multi-factor authentication, you have to have a code from your phone or a device that you type in right when you're logging in. The code is only good for 30 seconds to a minute.
"Set that up with your bank so you get a text message with a code or you use an app that gives you a code - one more layer of security to stop hackers from getting in.
"That's it for today."
